Les Éditions Basic Bruegel ont reçu une subvention du programme de documentation d’artsnb pour réaliser le projet intitulé « Chapbook Series II ». Cette deuxième vague de documents réunit les textes suivants :
NOVEL SQUAT de Bruce Barber. Ce projet s’inscrit dans l’ensemble plus vaste des Squat Projects (1998–2005) et relève de ce que Barber appelle l’art littoral, une pratique artistique axée sur l’engagement social, le dialogue et la collaboration au sein des communautés. L’histoire de ce projet sera recontextualisée afin d’en souligner la pertinence aujourd’hui.
ANTÉAURORE, de l’écrivain émergent Thibault Jacquot-Paratte. Cette suite poétique raconte la transformation d’une ville, de son état actuel à un futur solarpunk écoresponsable. Il propose une vision d’avenir empreinte d’espoir, mêlant poésie, engagement social et réflexion sur le progrès collectif. Une œuvre qui témoigne à la fois du Zeitgeist de sa génération et d’un moment charnière dans l’évolution de notre monde.
DICTIONNAIRE D’OBSERVATIONS de Valerie LeBlanc et Daniel H. Dugas est un projet collaboratif, organisé alphabétiquement, qui a débuté en 1990. Il rassemble de courtes remarques issues de ce qui a été vu, vécu ou pensé, souvent dans des situations précises.

Basic Bruegel Editions received a grant from the artsnb Documentation Program to undertake the project titled Chapbook Series II. This second wave of documents includes the following texts:
NOVEL SQUAT by Bruce Barber. This project is part of the larger Squat Projects (1998–2005) and falls under what Barber calls Littoral Art, an artistic practice focused on social engagement, dialogue, and collaboration within communities. The project’s history will be recontextualized to highlight its relevance today.
ANTÉAURORE by emerging writer Thibault Jacquot-Paratte. This poetic suite narrates the transformation of a city from its current state to an eco-responsible solarpunk future. It offers a hopeful vision of the future, blending poetry, social engagement, and reflection on collective progress—an artwork that reflects both the zeitgeist of its generation and a pivotal moment in the evolution of our world.
DICTIONARY OF OBSERVATIONS by Valerie LeBlanc and Daniel H. Dugas is a collaborative, alphabetized project that began in 1990. It collects brief remarks on what was seen, experienced, or thought, often in specific situations.
